The complete pattern was developed in Florence while living in this marvellous renaissance town. There the inspiration of clean lines, elegant form and a focus on tailoring expressed itself in the need to design a well-fitting basic piece that is simple in its elegance and easy to wear at all times.
You can choose between short sleeves or long balloon style sleeves in this pattern.
The pattern provides extensive information and tips on how to modify the yoke, the body or sleeves - and how to proceed if you want to adjust the instructions without changing the overall style of the garment​

​The cardigan features understated details that focus on fit with delicate lines at the sides near the high hem and the saddles, a slim integrated button-band, a cropped flattering cut that looks perfect on top of dresses (but not only) and i-cord edges all around.
The yoke construction is worked in a combination technique, first introduced with the BlueSand Cardigan pattern, which provides the perfect fit at the shoulders. Here it is worked in a feminine and more streamlined design that is easy and quick to knit up. 
It is designed in a way that needs almost no finishing work..​
