Playful bell ruffles form the bottom edge and give the shawl a romantic touch. The contrasting colour of the ruffles is slowly introduced with the use of fine stripes, so that the look and feel stays simple but refined.

Sizing
size after blocking: length 160 cm, 63 inches height 53 cm, 21 inches Gauge Gauge is not essential for this project but will influence the finished size of the shawl. Tension after blocking: 16sts x 40rows Yarn 2 skeins of Lana Grossa Lace Lux approximately 450 meters/ 500 yards of main colour (colourway 10) and 1 skein of Lana Grossa Lace Lux approximately 200 meters/ 220 yards of contrast colour (colourway 17) …or you can substitute for any other light fingering weight yarn (at 339 yards/50gr) |
