A playful statement design, which emphasises shape, texture and colour and that still remains comfortable to wear. This feminine Cardigan keeps all the focus on the lower textured portion with an uncommon shape, that enhances the prominent fold details on back and fronts. It showcases subtle and understated colour-changes, which are reflected on the extra long sleeves in a playful stripe sequence. |

The sloped raglan shoulder, which is lower cut on the back than on the front, gives a natural looking and well fitting shape to the yoke, while accelerated short-rows at the fronts allow for a flattering form that permits the back-fold to sit higher up at the back and to flow into the generous draping and fuller volume of the body’s stitch pattern.
The full form of the cardigan is tapered at the hem, which gives the finishing shape to this design by following the fold’s lines and that continues seamlessly all around into the neckband - changing from a delicate neck into the more pronounced front and finishing in a longer side ribbing at the bottom. All techniques and methods are either explained in the pattern itself with attached photo tutorials, or links are provided that point to web-tutorials. |
