The boatneck is flanked by intricate short-row shoulders, which reflect the striping of the hem, while pointy sleeve tops mirror the shoulder wedges and provide a different interpretation to the usual dropped-down yoke construction.
An asymmetric lower body with a curved hem and reversed princess seams at the front give the oversized look a flattering tulip shape. Many interesting details, like the broken up purled sections in between the short row striping, the contrast bind off for a delicate finishing and the playful skinny striping of the sleeves that allow for a fun colour gradation, enhance the overall look of this garment. Gauge
Stocking Stitch: 21sts and 28.5 rows in 10 cm/4" on 3,5mm/ US4 needles, measured after light blocking. Needles Two 3,5mm/US4 circular needles (at least 80 cm/31" long) and 3mm/US 2.5 circular needles for hem and cuffs. 4mm/US6 needles or larger for elastic BO (if necessary), Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. Other Tapestry needle, 7 removable stitch markers (2)+(2)+(3) in different colours, stitch holders or smooth scrap yarn.
