The Winston Cardigan is very easy to wear as a light and quick top layer that looks sophisticated and flattering on all body shapes, but keeps a casual and unimposing style. The only visual focus is positioned at the top section and the sleeves, where a fun striped motif is hugging the whole upper body. |

This open-front Cardigan is worked top-down and features a contrasting yoke worked in an easy welted stripes motif, that is integrated in the unusual dolman sleeve-construction.
Continuous decreases at the body section produce a tulip-shaped line, which helps make this very oversized garment still look elegant and put together. The tailored shaping worked with a slope that curves softly towards the hemline, produces a 3D formed hemline that hugs the body and that improves the drape of the whole cardigan. All techniques and methods are either explained in the pattern itself with attached photo tutorials, or links are provided that point to web-tutorials. |
