The little bolero is the perfect layering piece for dresses and slim fitted tops, since it does not look bulky while being incredibly warm because of the thick wool it is made of.
This simple feminine raglan shrug is knitted from the back neck down, seamlessly and all in one piece. Then the ribbed border is picked up and knitted all around.
It is very easy and extremely quick to knit thanks to the size of the wool and needles (you can even finish it in one day)! This project can be made in between quite a lot of different other, bigger projects that just don't give the immediate satisfaction that all knitters need once in a while!
Detailed instructions for both a long- sleeved version and a 3⁄4-sleeved version can be found in this pattern.
All techniques and methods are either explained in the pattern itself, or links are provided that point to web-tutorials.
